LETS TOUCH ON THE REFINERS, METALOR AND ARGOR swiss refiners. Several years ago there was a movement, trendy, but today, not so much.
So what is the revelance? The swiss govt took a lot of heat about admitting gold for refining from war torn countries, and so did the refineries.
I am not sure the govt or refineries, would pass the WWJD test today, but I think a bit more likely than before. Not that I don’t care about that, but in my search for suitable jurisictions, I try to make sure that any countries/juridictions, from which I select miners, have reasonable labor and enviromnental laws. Don’t have to perfect, but have to be good enough, as in “any of you without sin, cast the first stone”. That is good enuf for me. That is why I maintain a BlackList of whomever, whatever. Scandal, sketchiness, will have me looking for new homes for $$. I simply don’t like ugly surprises. FWIW, most of my selection are from Canada, the USA, a few from Mexico, a few from UK, and several from Eastern and Western Europe, and Australia also.
Its your money, ultimately your gain or loss, for what jurisdiction you choose.
